Safety Light Curtain

The active light curtain prevents user from entering into the liquid handler work area while the unit is in operation. They are intended to be an operational component to replace the Plexiglas side shields. The side light curtains are particularly useful for side access to the FX^P deck by robotic systems, which only cross the light curtain field intermittently. They are not intended for use with static devices that would remain over the light curtain such as a Stacker Carousel Shuttle. For these applications, the standard Plexiglass side shields are required.
